4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS

1. AIRPORT – KUMAI – CAMP – TANJUNG HARAPAN

Start with Arrive at Pangkalan Bun airport meet our Service and then drive to Kumai by Car 25 minutes. On arrival in Kumai, take a boat and then take a slow boat ride to Tanjung Harapan to explore Sekonyer river with Klotok Camp Tanjung Harapan, you will have the chance to see riverside life. Then, sail to Sekonyer River, an estuarine habitat with unique vegetation called mangroves, before your first stop to Tanjung Harapan Camp to witness Orangutan feeding at 15.00. Witness wildlife along the river banks such as the endemic Kalimantan proboscis monkey, long-tailed macaques, red leaf monkeys, silver langurs or bird life along the river banks. After seeing the orangutans, continue with a cruise to spend the night in Kelotok. You’ll have time to relax, enjoy the fresh air, or spot primates in the tree branches while the ship finds a good place to dock. Food Provided. (L-D

DAY 2: BLACK RIVER – CAMP LEAKEY

After breakfast, cruise down the river to Camp Leakey, Orangutan Rehabilitation Camp. Boating on the riverbank through the tea colored waters where you will see beautiful reflections of the vegetation along the river, if lucky with you, freshwater crocodiles and other wildlife attractions may spot the long river path. After lunch and departure at Camp Leakey, we can spend the rest of the day hiking through the Borneo rainforest, exploring peat swamp forests, lowland dipterocarp habitats, looking for wildlife or enjoying varieties of mushrooms, orchids, sandalwood orchids, mosses and ferns, then enjoy the time Orangutan feeding is at 14.00 WIB. Overnight on board. ( B – L – D )

DAY 3: PONDOK TANGGUI – LOCAL VILLAGE SEKONYER – TANJUNG HARAPAN (flexible)

After breakfast we still go down the river to watch orangutan feeding at 9am, at Pondok Tanggui, back to the boat for a nice lunch and we visit Sekonyer Village spend some time with the locals, see the handmade souvenirs, and we canoeing to explore the swamp swamps around the village bordering the Park accompanied by local residents, Boat to Nepah area and have candlelight dinner with Fireflies forming a Christmas tree in the dark of night and overnight on the boat

DAY 4. NIPA AREA – KUMAI AIRPORT – PANGKALANBUN

breakfast, boat to Kumai and then transfer by car to Pangkalan Bun airport for your next destination. tour ends. If you have more time, we can take City Tour or longer stay in Tanjung Puting National Park (depends on your flight schedule) ( B – L )
